-Base price is for the bracelet only –  then choose your charms from the list above at the listed additional cost.   Choose up to 35 for the chain style, or up to 55 for the bangle style. That’s the hard part, because I have over 130 charms to choose from….yes, you heard that right!  Most charms are $1 each,  and I have a few upscale options available for $2 to $4 each.   Order one charm or order 25…it is completely up to you!

Wear your love  (or obsession, as in my case!)  of Harry Potter and/or Fantastic Beasts with this simply amazing  charm bracelet,  available in traditional chain, snake chain, or a more modern European style expandable bangle bracelet.  Each one is custom made just for you, and is a wonderful conversation piece.  I believe it is the most unique charm bracelet available.

Most of our competitor’s bracelets come with only specific charms that you do not get to choose.  Here, you are the designer – and no one else will have one like yours!   You can design a bracelet with a generic Hogwarts theme,  a particular house, or a Hermione theme with her Yule Ball gown, timeturner, Crookshanks, spellbook and her otter Patronus.  If  you are a fan of Ron, add his knit sweater, Ford Anglia and whomping willow, Scabbers, a knight chess piece, his terrier Patronus and the “Weasley’s Our King” crown.  Maybe your taste runs to the dark side… or you are more of a Newt Scamander and Fantastic Beasts fan.   Whatever your interests are, there is something here for you.

• First, choose your bracelet style.  Base price is for the bracelet only.  Stainless steel is strong yet lightweight, hypo-allergenic, non-tarnishing, and the finish won’t wear off like silver plating eventually will.

1. The stainless steel chain bracelet is 7″ long with a lobster clasp and a 1″ extender chain.   I use a double layer split ring to attach the clasp to the chain to make it extra sturdy.   Send me a message if you need the chain  in a longer or shorter length.   Suitable for up to 35 charms.  (Pictured in the 1st photo.)
2. The expandable  European bangle style bracelet is available for a more sleek and modern alternative, and fits multiple wrist sizes due to the expandable style.  Suitable for up to 55 charms.  (Pictured in the 5th photo.)
3. I also  offer a stainless steel or silver plated snake style bracelet, similar to the popular European style big hole bead bracelets.  The charms are removable, so you can change the order of charms, or mix and match according to your mood.   Because you can add, remove, and arrange this style, there is  no limit to number of charms you can order.   (I can also sell this style as a large charm kit as described below.  Contact me  for options.)

• Second, add your favorite charms!  Most charms are a silvertone Tibetan silver ( a white metal alloy containing no lead or nickel )  and a few are bronze-toned, silver plated, or stainless steel.   I really like the mixed metal tones together because the charms stand out against each other with the contrast in color, rather than blending all together. When you click on the photo with charm choices, you can click the small arrows in the upper left corner to zoom in even closer.

NOTE – We reserve the right to substitute charms due to availability.   They may vary slightly, but the charm will be either very similar, or possibly even better than pictured.  Please specify if you have a charm that must be EXACTLY as pictured.

-Maximum of 35 charms on the chains style, and 55 on the expandable bracelet style.  I can add more than 35 charms, but please understand that the chain style bracelet will be full and charms will overlap each other.   If you choose more than 30 charms, they fit much better on the expandable bangle if you don’t like them too crowded.  They have the ability to slide around so that you can show off  your charms better!   For reference, there are 37 charms on the chain bracelet in the photos above.  I love the fullness- but not everyone else may appreciate that.   The bangle style expandable bracelet has 54 charms in the photo, but it looks great with fewer charms sliding around the bangle, too.    I just had a hard time limiting myself !  I do spend a lot of time arranging them so that they each show in the best way possible.  Also keep in mind the size differences – some of the charms are larger than the others.  I photographed them together for ease of comparison.

If you just can’t possibly keep your selections to under 55 charms, I also have a wonderful Convertible Necklace/Bracelet Charm Kit, as shown in the last photo.   It comes with a snake style bracelet, similar to the popular European style big hole bead bracelets.  The charms are removable, so you can change the order of charms, or mix and match according to your mood.   I can create this charm kit with up to 100 charms and beads for full versatility.   Charm kits include a divided storage case, black faux leather and silver plate or stainless steel necklaces, and a silver plate or stainless steel bracelet.    Contact me for options.

I really enjoy the time spent putting these pieces together and letting my creativity flow.  I can get lost for hours, sometimes even days, fiddling around with them, trying to find the perfect combination; and searching for the components around town and on the internet.  I probably spend too much time doing so – but it is a labor of love!

About Harry Potter-inspired jewelry and collectibles

 If you love Harry Potter as much as I do, you’ve found the right place!  I have created a unique line of collectibles and jewelry for teens and adults that is affordable– including an upscale line of Harry Potter-inspired jewelry created with vintage and antique pocket watches and parts, hardware and jewels for the more discriminating adult.   I had trouble finding jewelry I would wear myself, as most of the available jewelry out there were one of two extremes- either cheaply made or geared towards children – or expensive 14K gold and pure sterling pieces. Unlike my other line of authentic antique pocket watch jewelry, most of the charms I use in the Harry Potter –inspired line of jewelry are new Tibetan silver components, which is a non-tarnishing, affordable white metal alloy that is lead and nickel free.  Some may contain a small bit of pure silver, but it is not guaranteed.   I try to create unique AND affordable jewelry, so my components are not sterling silver.   If you are very sensitive to metals, I recommend searching for a high end line of jewelry of actual gold or silver.  Nickel is a common culprit, but not always.   Some parts such as jump rings, chain, clasps, earrings wires, and findings are often silver-plated.  I DO create a few upscale pieces with antique and/or vintage watch parts and hardware, and they will be noted as such.

Pendants come with a necklace of my choice that best matches the pendant.  A few come with a necklace of your choice .  You may change it if you wish.  Just drop me a note with the order.    I usually offer satin cording, suede cord, memory wire chokers, organza ribbon, silk sari ribbon and plated chain for the necklaces.

 Care:

All jewelry benefits from proper care.   Please consider these pieces as wearable art, and wear them accordingly.  They are not meant to be slept in, showered with, or worn during sporting activities.  Here are a few helpful hints that will help protect and extend the life of your jewelry:

• Do not allow your jewelry to get wet. – no showering, swimming or sporting activites. Water, salt water, chlorine and sweat can all damage your pieces.
• Any chemical can damage your jewelry. Do not allow jewelry to come in contact with body oils, lotions, perfumes, hair products, sunscreen, bug sprays, etc.  It can cause tarnishing and/or excessive surface wear.
• Do not sleep in your jewelry. Too much pressure applied to the delicate pieces can cause breakage.
• If jewelry needs cleaning, use only a clean, dry soft cloth.
• Store your jewelry in a clean, dry place to prevent dust accumulation..

 

My jewelry and collectible handmade products are not intended for children under the age of 10.  Jewelry may contain small pieces that can be a choking hazard if swallowed or put into the mouth.   Other items, such as wands or books, are meant for the collector, Harry Potter-themed parties, or as a costume accessory, and are not intended to be used as toys.

For some pieces, I use a jeweler’s epoxy and/or industrial-strength glue that is a favorite of professional jewelers.  It is both waterproof and flexible, but given the right circumstances, anything can break.  Some parts may be soldered, and many are connected with wire-wrapping or jump rings.  Please contact me if you need any assistance with repairs.

That being said…it IS tempting to play with the wands….  I know- my grandchildren play with mine!  But please remember that excessive play may lead to damage.   Wands may chip, fade, break, or splinter if played with roughly, and may become hazardous for small children.  Nothing is indestructible – even Harry’s wand could not be fixed with normal magic!   If older children use these collectibles as toys, please use them safely.  Do not poke at or hit other wizards. I am not responsible for improper use of my wands. Play with them at your own risk and use common sense.  If you are ok with eventually replacing them after some wear and tear, that is great by me!
